Sale prices are still in effect on Ariens Snowthrowers. The factory has stopped production on some models because of an engine shortage so don't wait to buy.
October 10, 2009 - Snowblowers in Full Swing!!
The Full lines of Ariens and Toro snowblowers are in stock now and ready for immediate delivery. Preseason prices are the lowest of the year and will remain in effect through the end of October so don't wait until it's too late. Toro $100 rebates have been extended through October 31st on all Two Stage Power Max machines. We are doing tune ups on snow, leaf, and lawn equipment now and pickup and delivery is available.
August 12, 2009 - Snowblowers Already?
Summer has finally come around and it's so muggy we are running the AC down here. The new models of Ariens snowblowers have arrived and are setup in the store. It know it seems early to buy a snowblower however the preseason prices are the best of the year and buying now guarantees you get the model that you want. The new Toro snowblowers are on the way from Minnesota and we expect delivery before the end of August. Feel free to email questions or pictures of your driveway and I'll help you choose a model that fits.
April 13, 2009 - There is still time
The cold weather just will not seem to leave us. On the bright side there is still time to apply crabgrass preventers to your lawn. Now would also be the time for applying lime or a lime substitute. The weather is supposed to warm up by the end of the week so this weekend will be a good time for planting new grass seeds. Plant your peas, lettuce, and onions now but hold off on tomatoes for now.
April 3, 2009 - Crabgrass
Now is the time to apply crabgrass preventer with fertilizer to your lawn. We have the typical Scotts and Jonathan Green products however they stop any and all grass seeds from germinating. If you want to plant some new grass seeds this spring be sure and ask for the special crabgrass preventer that targets only crabgrass seeds. We also have an organic option that will prevent crabgrass. Corn Gluten should be applied now for best results.
March 25, 2009 - Pansies?
Friday is the day. We will get our first load of pansies in around noon on Friday. We may not be completely out of harms way with the frigid nighttime temperatures but a plastic cover at night should keep the pansies going. See you Friday afternoon.
March 19, 2009 - Springtime
Tomorrow is officially the first day of Spring and we are all happy to put the 2008/09 winter behind us.
We are now stocked up with fertilizer, lime, seeds, new lawn mowers, etc. Drop by to check out the new products we found during the off season.
Natural and Organic products continues to be a major focus for us and we have added a number of new items to our already large selection.
Special pricing and rebates are in effect for fertilizer programs including our Organic choices!
We have started mower and tractor tune ups, so beat the rush and come in early.
August 08, 2008 - Tax Free Weekend
This Tax Free Weekend Needham Garden Center is having some great deals on Ariens and Toro snow throwers. All models on display at preseason discounted prices. Along with the no sales tax, we will have some extra incentives in store, free gift cards, free local deliveries, and raffles.
August 07, 2008 - New Hours
We've changed our hours. Monday through Saturday's hours are 7am - 5pm, and Sunday's hours are 10am-4pm.
