The snowthrower shipments arrive this week and next so we will have display models to see and units to deliver. Plan ahead, you will not see better pricing this season!</p> <p> We have plenty of watering products in stock including a selection of timers to help you keep your lawn and plants alive. An inch of water a week is required for lawns. We also stock a few products designed to reduce the amount of time you need to spend watering. Check your plants for signs like brown and black spotting, yellowing of leaves, leaf curling, mildew, etc. Treat early to stop and prevent further damage. Summer has finally come around and it's so muggy we are running the AC down here. The new models of Ariens snowblowers have arrived and are setup in the store. It know it seems early to buy a snowblower however the preseason prices are the best of the year and buying now guarantees you get the model that you want. The new Toro snowblowers are on the way from Minnesota and we expect delivery before the end of August. On the bright side there is still time to apply crabgrass preventers to your lawn. Now would also be the time for applying lime or a lime substitute. The weather is supposed to warm up by the end of the week so this weekend will be a good time for planting new grass seeds. Plant your peas, lettuce, and onions now but hold off on tomatoes for now. Now is the time to apply crabgrass preventer with fertilizer to your lawn. We have the typical Scotts and Jonathan Green products however they stop any and all grass seeds from germinating. If you want to plant some new grass seeds this spring be sure and ask for the special crabgrass preventer that targets only crabgrass seeds. We also have an organic option that will prevent crabgrass. Corn Gluten should be applied now for best results. Friday is the day. We will get our first load of pansies in around noon on Friday. We may not be completely out of harms way with the frigid nighttime temperatures but a plastic cover at night should keep the pansies going. See you Friday afternoon. Tomorrow is officially the first day of Spring and we are all happy to put the 2008/09 winter behind us.
